With its numerous lakes, nature reserves and hiking opportunities, the Uckermark offers a wonderful holiday experience for all those who feel connected to nature. But there is also something to see for city strollers: the restored old town of Templin is one of the highlights of the region and our hotel is right in the middle of it. We are a bett+bike certified hotel and have a separate bike room in the hotel's underground car park. There you will find suitable tools and charging stations for your e-bikes. Charging is of course free of charge. We are a partner of the "Akku Laden gern!" campaign and also offer guests who are not staying with us the opportunity to charge their e-bike battery free of charge. We will gladly provide you with maps and many tour tips.
You can experience the unspoilt landscape of the Uckermark in a special way when hiking through fields, forests and past lakes. We are happy to help you put together your tours and provide you with hiking maps. We are partners of "Hiking without luggage" and will take your luggage to the next stage for you.

The "Multikulturelle Centrum" Templin is the cultural centre of the city and houses a cinema, a gallery with café and offers an extensive programme of events all year round. The main pillars of the centre are the cinema with a sophisticated programme cinema and the award-winning mobile cinema in the summer months with many open-air events, concert series with jazz, folk, rock and world music, a gallery where mainly artists from the region present themselves and festival offers in the summer months. Many artists and artisans have established themselves in the Uckermark. Visit the exhibitions at the Multikulturelles Centrum Templin, the glassblowing workshop at Annenwalde near Templin, the various galleries at the Kunsthandwerkerhof in Thomsdorf, which regularly holds arts and crafts markets, or the Templin pottery market, and much more.
Tumuli, historic village churches, castles, manor houses, literary memorials, historic parks and gardens, as well as technical and industrial monuments are the defining elements of the multifaceted monument landscape in the Uckermark. In the summer months, music, theatre and other art and cultural events take place in many of these places.
